Whether you are alone, a couple or with friends, we will always have the same pleasure to welcome you in one of our four charming cottages or in our B&B (bed and breakfast).

We have ensured that the ancient, the modern and the comfort (high-end bedding, air-conditioned rooms, equipped kitchen) are in harmony.

Domaine des Ormeaux has shared spaces to make your stay more enjoyable: the salt pool heated in season, the spa with jacuzzi and infrared sauna, a large park with places to rest.

A la carte services are also offered such as breakfast for lodge guests, and on-site services of a professional masseur or a beautician for your well-being.

The creation of gites and a guest house is based on a human adventure resulting from the story. It is the case of Domaine des Ormeaux, and this is often the subject of discussions with our guests!

Since 2011, these conversations with guests helped us find the right words to say what is essential for us:

-Domaine des Ormeaux contains a family story that has been part of this place since the 17th century and still continues today. For us, it is a pleasure to share this place which has kept its authenticity.

However, knowing history doesn’t mean living in the past!

- We are committed to continue our family's tradition of hospitality; by not only providing you a friendly and generous welcome, but also sharing a way of life of the South-West region, more specifically, of Périgord. You can appreciate the pleasure of eating which is expressed in tradition and innovation, warm people without excess. You can enjoy a diversity of landscapes with a mixture of history and prehistory.

We are honored to share our experiences with you, both about good foods and visits to discover Dordogne.

- Most of the days, we have to face bad sides of professional life and busy cities: increasing stress, always going faster, noisy environment. Resulting in, more and more people are having trouble to sleep.

We understand how modern lifestyle can affect the body and mind. This inspires us for what we want to for Domaine des Ormeaux.

A quiet and peaceful place to provide you with a relaxing vacation.  In Domaine des Ormeaux, there will be no bombshells that could splash on you while you’re reading, there will be no nagging with "I'm bored, what are we doing”. There will only be  time for you.

In order to recharge your batteries, you need a good sleep. We have paid particular attention to the quality of the bedding in the gites and the guest room, and air conditioning is equipped in each room.

- Accommodation of Domaine des Ormeaux has been laid out around a courtyard in the outbuildings of a farm.

The geography of the places allows 2 wishes: to respect your independence and your privacy and to promote a friendly environment.

We have ensured that each accommodation has an independent entrance and has a terrace.

In addition, we like to receive and meet our guests on the terrace of the Convivial Room which offers a very beautiful view of the countryside.

Our delight is when our guests tell us that they feel at home.

To help you, we provide you with a welcome booklet. It will explain how the equipment in the accommodations and shared spaces (swimming pool and spa) works.

It will also inform you of the services provided (massage, breakfast, farm products, etc.). It gives some advices about surrounding visits and good restaurant addresses.

Important point : we have cats and dogs… they are extremely friendly and don't be surprised they are also the hosts of the Domaine 😊.

We, therefore, want to warn those who are allergic or do not like animals.

However, they are prohibited from entering the accommodation.

To find us, you will have to climb "on our hill" 1km from the village of Ajat, a place where « time passes slowly » which deserves a short visit.

If Domaine des Ormeaux is historically in Périgord Noir, we are on the edge of Périgord Blanc and Vert.

This geographical position has the advantage of being able to radiate throughout the Dordogne and to be outside the major tourist concentrations.
